Shipping
Orders received by 2:00pm central time, Monday-Friday, for in-stock merchandise will be shipped the same day. Orders received after 2:00 p.m. central time will ship the following business day. All orders are shipped by UPS Ground or US Postal Service depending on the size of the package unless specified otherwise at the time of your order. The cost for shipping is the actual cost assessed by the courier and will be added to your purchase price. Express shipping is available. The Red Giraffe does not charge for "handling". An order confirmation will be sent to you immediately after you check out. This confirmation lets you know that we received your order correctly and are beginning to fulfill your request. Once your order is shipped we will send you a tracking number so you can check the status of your shipment with the chosen carrier. We value your business and strive to have items in-stock at all times. However there are instances when an item may not be available for immediate shipment. If this happens, we will notify you of the expected ship date for the item once the order is placed or you can contact us for additional information. When you place an order, your credit card will not be charged for the item(s) until it is shipped. Returns
At The Red Giraffe we stand behind every product that we sell.
Refunds are given on unused products that are returned within 30 days of
receipt. If you need to return or exchange an item within 30 days of your
purchase, e-mail us at returns@theredgiraffe.com for a return authorization
number (RA #) and additional instructions.
The Red Giraffe will gladly accept all returns that include a RA # and a copy of the original receipt. We reserve the right to refuse refunds for items that appear to be used and that do not include the original packaging. All returns/exchanges must be returned postage paid. Shipping and handling charges are not refundable. We are not responsible for lost or stolen returned merchandise and encourage you to insure all returns. For health and safety reasons The Red Giraffe cannot accept any returns for the following items: car seats, breast pumps, nursing bras, feeding items, bathing items, swimming items, diapering accessories, lotions, pacifiers, and thermometers. CD's, cassette tapes, videos, and books may be returned for an "exact exchange only" once opened. Special order merchandise can not be returned unless it is damaged or defective because it has been ordered especially for you. Please allow seven business days from the time we receive the return to process a refund. Gift-Wrapping
Our team of "professional gift-wrappers" would love to put the
finishing touches on your purchase for a nominal $3-$6 charge depending on the
size of the gift. You will have peace of mind knowing that our team will take
the time to make your gift look incredible. We will even include a handwritten
gift card if you would like us to. Gift bags provided at no additional charge. Security
The Red Giraffe is an extremely fun place to shop, but when it
comes to the privacy and security of your personal and credit card
information, we are extremely serious. We use SSL technology to scramble
information so only we can read it when you are sending information to us.
This technology makes it impossible for any external parties to read the
information you submit. When you shop at The Red Giraffe, you can be confident
that your information is secure and will not be shared or viewed by anyone
outside our company.
